Converting Vector Files to 3D Models

Our vector conversion tools are also able to convert vector files into full 3D models using an extrusion process whereby vector elements are mapped from the vector file into 3D space and are given a height value based on their brightness. Here we have an example of this. The first vector file is a plain two-dimensional SVG file containing a retro video game character that is extruded using our tool to create a 3D STL model.
